Tennelle Worsham Business Management and Accounting Scholarship

The Tennelle Worsham Business Management and Accounting Scholarship is a  $1,000 scholarship awarded to a well deserving Proviso East  High School senior who wants to pursue a degree in the areas of: accounting, business administration, business management, human resources, supervision, or leadership.

Tennelle Worsham attended Proviso East High School but later moved after the loss of her oldest brother, Jason Worsham. She is a Pirate in heart and bleeds blue. Ms. Worsham is a successful business owner and accounting professional, who desires to give a student the collegiate experience. 

1. Must be a Proviso East High School graduating senior.

2. 2.5 or higher GPA.

3. Official high school transcript.

4. One (1) letter of reference from a counselor or teacher.

5. Two (2) letters of recommendation.

6. 300 words essay with senior picture.

7. Proof of enrollment in a Business or Accounting certification or degree program in a two or four-year college in the United States.

All applicants will be notified by August 15, 2024 of their status. Payment to scholarship winner will be disbursed at Proviso East's Homecoming Weekend (TBA).
